This piece represents our "last moments" and the stages that one may experience. First, there…fear and resistance followed by angst and franticness. Towards the end of the piece acceptance arises and there is a certain amount of peace. Regardless, it symbolizes our "last moments" and how we should savor and cling on to every last second. For otheres, it may be a reminder to simply enjoy each moment. This piece hits home for many as most have experienced loss of life within their families or peer groups. I choreographed this piece after seeing my Grandfather actively dying before my eyes. It is a reminder to live each day to the fullest and cherish each breath for you will never know when it could be your last.Read More

I was a guest teacher in January 2016 at the Boris Eifman Dance Academy in…Petersburg, Russia. The dancers there study ballet, gymnastics, contemporary, and ballroom, but no jazz dance. In just 8 hours of rehearsal I was able to set this theatre jazz dance piece on dancers ages 12-14. This was a great example of cultural interaction and community building through sharing American jazz dance.Read More
