Choreographed by Lauren Gaul and Associate Choreographer Jon Warren, featuring the Pace University Commercial Dance…This premiered in the Pace University spring concert, Dance Out Loud 2014, and was inspired by classic jazz dance. I wanted to fuse classic and concert jazz in an unexpected and contemporary way that created a concert jazz piece with a modern day theatrical flair. The featured dancer in the piece is moved by the unique latin rhythms of the music. Her movement and connection to the rhythm is the motivation for all dancers in the piece to interact, dance, and meet in this one moment in time.
