Excerpt from Act I bedroom pas de deux -Marie and Louis XVI A child bride.…spoiled party girl. A doting mother. A controversial queen. Marie Antoinette has long fascinated historians and artists alike. Inspired by the story of her life, artistic director Stanton Welch will create a new full-length ballet about the French monarch whose life culminated in the violent events of the French Revolution. London-based designer Kandis Cook will create costumes and sets for the production. Music director Ermanno Florio will arrange the score, featuring music by Dmitri Shostakovich.Read More

This spontaneous ballet piece contains little fun vignettes of me. I composed the original soundtrack…Garageband entitled "Piece of Me" to leave an impression of who I am personally as a dancer and to have a little fun with it! I would love to join a company (impressed with Houston Ballet's Stanton Welch) that could see my potential that I could develop as a dancer. My Dad always says he wishes that auditions could convey more about dancers as he has seen me perform Sugar Plum Fairy last minute my memory from over 3 years ago when someone was sick for a demonstration performance without getting nervous without a glitch!Read More

Jessica Beswick, excerpts from Sleeping Beauty Lilac Fairy Variations. I was 17 at the time…this performance. We worked on this entire ballet for only 6-10 days with choreographer Coppelia Lopez. My longtime classical ballet master Jefferson Baum had moved away to Santa Fe School of Performing Arts during my Senior year of High School so this dance school was new to me. I was fortunate that Ms. Lopez had worked with Mr. Baum in the past and she is credited with working with all new students some with not much formal ballet training and she pulled this together in a short time.Read More
