Choreography: Andrea Ward Dancing: Laura Smithson, Ariel Clarke, Jon Carr, Ryan Wolf, and Andrea Ward Cinematography: Noah Lamport Music: The Postal Service This piece is about the idea of being "free" in a world where the definition of freedom is fabricated and untrue. Society is illusory in that it convinces us that we are free, although we are not. In the song, the singer says "You may case the grounds from the Cascades to Puget Sound, but you are not permitted to leave." In this, he is implying that although we have the freedom to escape society physically, we do not have the freedom to escape society mentally, psychologically, or emotionally.
