This video is a film trailer for the upcoming documentary And We Will Dance. The film is currently in post-production. It is at the same time dance-focused, yet thematically universal. And We Will Dance shines the spotlight on dance and the arts at the nationally-known venue, the University of North Carolina School of the Arts (UNCSA). The film is directed and filmed by artist Steve Childs, who has painted dancers for more than twenty-five years. And We Will Dance traces the lives of four students in UNCSA’s School of Dance. UNCSA film and music students work collaboratively with Steve to produce, film, edit and score the film, which itself is a testimony to the rich creative talent and expressiveness of the next generation’s artists.
