I filmed this particular dance with no choreography planned in mind. I put the camera on and just felt the music (Hide and Seek by Imogen Heap). Surprisingly, I found that I dance more passionately when I don't follow a strict routine, but allow the moves to come naturally. It's when I'm doing improv when my best ideas come to me by complete accident. Lo and behold, my spontaneous, spur-of-the-moment movement actually turns into a decent dance routine, as I repeatedly play back the video and try to mock what I did. This has become my unique way of putting together my own choreography based solely upon my mind's immediate creativity. As a result, my moves are connected to my soul and they aren't forced in any manner.
