"Rite of Spring meets Alien in Night of the Living Dead" --Glen Eddy, former NDT dancer Sacrament is a dance theater performance experience that examines cult mentality, the evolution of god, and the human attraction to destruction. Ten dancers develop this abstract narrative amidst a futuristic landscape of decay. Sacrament breaks down the boundary between observer and performer and defies the conventions of the proscenium stage by placing the audience within the dance itself. Instead of being simply passive spectators, the audience becomes an essential component of the work.
