I created this solo as a teaching tool to explore how to move in and out of classical ballet technique in ways that prevent doors a dancer moves through from shutting behind them. The dancer is Monica Pelfrey. The music is Alone in Kyoto, by Air. The name of the piece results from my attempt to upload it--the music was originally blocked some months. I realized my silent dance wasn't silent. Hence feel free to enjoy both with the inspiring song, and without.
