Hallelujah

Set in the early 1960's suburbia, this piece explores the emotional breakdown of women within a rigid society. After discovering their husbands' infidelities, these women finally expose themselves for a quick moment and stray from the 'perfect housewife' image they were expected to always maintain. We see a glimpse in their private psyche and their struggle to find their personal solution while remaining accepted within society. Yet, at the end of the day they must remain composed and they must maintain their image. Choreography by Ralphie Picciarelli.

#1 beautiful

Beautiful portrayal of the struggle women went through to stay within the rigid structure of sameness and normality. Truly gifted dancers and talented choreographer.
