"Pillsbury A" is a segment from my series called "Dancing the River Highway." This is a dance interpretation of the landscapes and communities along the Mississippi River from Minneapolis to St. Louis. It explores the connections of the people to their river lifeline, the responses of the dancers to the spaces and to the photographer's perspective. The site here is an industrial area of Minneapolis near the Pillsbury factory.
